At the end of last August, Vivo officially confirmed its entry into the tablet category in the first half of 2022. As we are only a month away from the new year, details about the company’s first tablet are starting to emerge. The first ever product leak gives us information about the processor.

According to Digital Chat Station, the first Vivo tablet will be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 870 processor. Thus, it will join the likes of Lenovo Xiaoxin Pad Pro 2021/Xiaoxin Pad Pro 12.6 and Xiaomi Pad 5/5 Pro that feature the same chip.

Moreover, the leak shows that more smart device manufacturers will enter the tablet market in 2022. Thus, customers will have the possibility to choose from a variety of products. E-ink tablets, compact gaming tablets, pioneering large-screen OLED tablets, and more are expected.

At the moment, we don’t have any other information regarding the Vivo tablet, but the phone will most likely feature a battery with a capacity of 8040mAh according to TÜV Rheinland certification.
