Twitter strives to make sure that you don’t see anything from the accounts you’ve blocked or muted, and in addition to any keywords you’ve muted as well, it’s working on updates to hide those keywords and accounts across the platform.
On the web, iOS and Android apps, you shouldn’t see events from muted and banned accounts under the Explore page or the What’s Happening sidebar. They also should not appear in platform emails or event-based notifications.
This would give users more control over what they see on the platform, as they would have the added guarantee that accounts they don’t want to see won’t appear outside the home page.
