Sony today announced new skins for the PlayStation 5, as well as three new colors for the DualSense controller.
The new PS5 console covers come in five colors; Including pink, blue, purple, red and black. All of these items come stand-alone and purchased separately, and are a replacement for the white covers which are the only option when purchasing the PS5.
Replacing PS5 covers is a very simple process as they are designed to slide in without the need for any tools. The way you remove the covers is like the way you access the SSD slot to expand your storage space.
Moreover, Sony also launched DualSense controllers in pink, blue and purple, and these new colors join the red and black units that were launched last May. With this, the color range of the controllers is now six.
The red and black PS5 units will be available in January 2022 in the USA, Canada, UK, France, Germany, Switzerland, Austria, Spain, Portugal, Italy, Australia, New Zealand, Japan, China, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia, Vietnam, Korea and the Philippines.
While the perforated, purple, and blue caps will be available in the first half of 2022 in the above regions, other regions will receive them later in the year. Meanwhile, the new DualSense colors will be available in January 2022.
It has not yet been stated how much these covers will cost.
