The upcoming Qualcomm Snapdragon 898 processor has occupied a number of leaks during the last period, as it was indicated that the chip giant presented this version during the month of December.
Today, a new date was revealed for the unveiling of the latest versions of Qualcomm’s distinctive chips, as the processor will be officially launched at the end of November.
Also, according to what was stated in the leaks, Xiaomi, Samsung and Huawei are also scheduled to present the first versions of smartphones with the Snapdragon 898 processor.
The new Qualcomm processor has been spotted in a number of leaks with the model number sm8450, as this version is based on Samsung’s manufacturing process with a precision of 4 nm.
On the other hand, Qualcomm offers to upgrade the processor with the sm8475 model, which is known as the Snapdragon 898 Plus processor, during the middle of 2022.
It is reported that the Snapdragon 898 processor is based on the dual 3400 architecture, with an Adreno 730 graphics card, also featuring eight cores, and it is scheduled to be available in Samsung, Xiaomi, Huawei, Oppo, Vivo, Lenovo and also Motorola versions.
