Chen Jin, general manager of Lenovo Mobile Business Group, confirmed on Weibo that the Motorola Razr 5G successor is currently being worked on.
Motorola was the first company to launch a foldable phone in November 2019 and then launched the 5G version in September 2020 which had slightly better specs. Chen Jin says the company is working on the third generation Motorola Razr and will offer better performance, a new interface and an improved design.
The Motorola Razr 5G comes with a 6.2-inch internal screen and a 2.7-inch external screen, and it is powered by a Snapdragon 765G processor and includes a 2800 mAh battery.
Chen says the Motorola Razr 3 will be released first in China, and although he didn’t give a date, an earlier rumor claimed that the phone won’t arrive until at least the second half of next year.
