The company meta has started working on developing a new version of the virtual reality glasses, which is now known as “Project Cambria”, which will be officially launched next year.
Mark Zuckerberg, CEO of meta, indicated during the Connect conference that was launched recently that the company is preparing to launch a new version of virtual reality glasses next year.
The company also confirmed that the next version of the virtual reality glasses comes in the premium category, so it differs from the company’s current version of the Quest 2 glasses, which comes with a pricing level of $ 299, where the new version comes with a higher pricing level.
Mark Zuckerberg explained during the conference that the company’s upcoming glasses come with capabilities that have not been presented in virtual reality glasses so far, as it supports maintaining the feature of visual communication in the user’s virtual images, and also works to reverse changes in the user’s facial expressions.
The company emphasizes that the new features in the glasses allow users to use virtual reality technology more efficiently by conveying the user’s sense of changing facial expressions.
Cambria glasses also come with new lenses that support a better field of view, and Facebook has confirmed the publication of new details later on the developments of this version.
