New leaked images have been spotted for a smartphone that includes the upcoming Qualcomm Snapdragon 898 processor, as the images show the configurations of the processing unit and the expected performance of the chip.
The new Qualcomm processor appears in the leaked images with the model number SM8450 that belongs to the Snapdragon 898 chip or the new version of the current Snapdragon 888 chip, and the phone information app shows the processor configurations that include a Cortex-X2 main core that has a speed of 3.0 GHz.
The processor also includes three Cortex-A710 cores at a speed of 2.5 GHz, with 4 Cortex-A510 cores at a speed of 1.79 GHz, specifications that are consistent with what came from the leaks so far.
The Snapdragon 898 processor is expected to feature a new and unique architecture, the Adreno 730 graphics card is also expected to have higher performance, but the leaks have not revealed details of the graphics card’s performance so far.
Expectations indicate that the performance improvements in the graphics card are integrated with the precision of the 4 nm chip and the Samsung manufacturing process. The chip also comes with an X65 5G modem chip for a speed of up to 10 gigabits per second.
It is reported that the leaks indicate that the phone that appears in the picture with the SG 898 chip is one of the upcoming premium vivo versions, or it may be the upcoming Xiaomi 12 release.
