iQOO 9 series will use Samsung’s ISOCELL GN5 sensor

An iQOO official has posted details on Weibo regarding a new dedicated camera sensor with imaging capabilities. The company will be using Samsung’s 1/1.57-inch ISOCELL GN5 50MP sensor with the iQOO 9 array.

This Samsung sensor offers automatic omnidirectional tuning and is supposed to make a noticeable step up with this kit.

Furthermore, the iQOO 9 series is expected to offer Qualcomm’s latest flagship Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset, Samsung-made E5 OLED displays with 120Hz refresh rate and 6.78 inches on the Pro version and 120W charging.

The iQOO 9 range is expected to arrive in China sometime in January.
