Adaptive Sound aims to improve sound quality by dynamically adjusting it to your surroundings, and a microphone is used to do so.
While the feature was available on Google’s older Pixel 4a 5G and Pixel 5 phones, it was initially missing with the newer Pixel 6 and 6 Pro phones.
But now, according to a tweet from MishaalRahman, Google is implanting an OTA update that enables Adaptive Sound for Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro users.
However, there is no official word at the moment and we don’t know when to expect the update.
