According to Canalys, during the third quarter of 2021, tablet shipments in Western Europe were 6.9 million units, down 20% year-on-year. Apple was the only tablet maker to show growth in Western Europe from July through September.
Apple shipped 3.1 million units 33% year-over-year with the device giving the device a 45% share of the region’s tablet market.
Samsung ranked second in tablet shipments during the quarter although it saw a massive 53% year-over-year decline to nearly one million units.
In third place, Lenovo saw tablet shipments in Western Europe decline 20% during the third quarter. While both Huawei and Amazon saw a 48% YoY decline in the region.
