Apple is preparing to support iPad Pro and MacBook Pro devices with OLED screens that come with improvements to support higher brightness.
A report published by The Elec provider indicated that Apple plans to support the iPad Pro and MacBook Pro with OLED screens that come with a new design based on two layers to support light emission with higher efficiency, as well as higher brightness in the screens.
The report confirms other details published in previous leaks about Apple’s adoption of a new technology in OLED screens. The new reports also confirm that the new screen technology comes at a high cost.
The report also shows that the first versions of Apple devices with new OLD screens will be officially launched in 2023 or 2024.
On the other hand, the leaks indicate that the high cost of this category of screens will lead to support for Apple versions of the MacBook Pro, as well as the iPad Pro 11 and 12.9-inch.
Also, the new OLED screens are scheduled to support LTPO technology to support the control of the refresh rate with a higher resolution between 10Hz and 120Hz.
