Roh Tae-moon, head of Samsung’s mobile division, has confirmed that the Galaxy Note line has officially ended, and that the company will continue to produce the stylus.
The Korean giant determined the future of the Galaxy Note series in official statements from the company during the MWC 2022 events, where the spokesperson from the company indicated that the Galaxy Note features will be presented in the Ultra versions of Samsung.
Samsung has already started supporting the recently introduced Galaxy S22 Ultra with S Pen support that supports in-phone integration.
These details confirm many previous leaks and expectations that indicated that Samsung would not present the Note phone this year.
Samsung also introduced the Galaxy Note 20 and Note 20 Ultra phones during 2020, while the Galaxy S22 Ultra launched this year with the S Pen built into the phone.
Recent reports confirm that the Galaxy S22 Ultra and Galaxy Note versions are already converging in design, so Samsung’s decision was to cancel the Galaxy Note production line.
