Facebook has launched Reels, its short video feature, in more than 150 countries.
The social media platform says it offers better ways to help creators earn money, new creation tools, and more places to watch and create Facebook Reels, especially since video now accounts for nearly half of the time people spend on Facebook and Instagram.
She added that Reels is their fastest growing content mode to date so they are focused on making Reels the best way for creators to be discovered, connect with their audience, and earn money.
This feature is also set to soon display full screen ads between clip threads as well. Notably, Meta also added that it will be rolling out updates for users to create and see Facebook Reels in new places. This includes places like Stories, in the Watches tab, and even at the top of News Feeds as well.
