Google just released the February update for the Pixel 6 and 6 Pro, which brought some improvements and fixes, the most important of which is a fix for a camera issue. Unfortunately, it seems that this new update also brought new bugs.
Users have complained that Wi-Fi turns off in the background after a few minutes. This prevents the phone from automatically connecting to known Wi-Fi networks as well. For some, the problem is that the Wi-Fi doesn’t turn on at all.
This affects Bluetooth as well, some users have reported that toggling Wi-Fi disables Bluetooth in the background.
Several solutions have been proposed, and none have worked so far. One user on Reddit tried to disable Adaptive Connections, which temporarily fixed the issue, but his Wi-Fi still turned off after a while. While others suggested resetting the network settings, but that didn’t seem to fix the issue either.
