Before the end of 2021, Samsung released an app dedicated to mobile phones that gives users more control over the camera settings on Galaxy phones, and this app is called Expert RAW.
As with most apps, the first launch is almost always complete and usually has bugs, but Samsung does a good job about developing it.
Although it had some problems when it was launched, it was warmly received by many photography enthusiasts.
Expert RAW’s first major update (version 1.0.00.16) returned in December and brought significant improvements in both image quality and user interface design. However, there are still other things that need improvement.
And now according to the IceUniverse leak, the new version of the app (version 1.0.00.21) will fix several annoying bugs, while also adding a new feature.
Among the things that were fixed with Expert RAW was a glitch in the shutter speed of the shutter button especially when taking photos with long exposures of more than two seconds.
Also fixed the problem of poor image quality when shooting bright or saturated objects, as well as the problem of bad pixels when shooting with a telephoto camera. There was a voice command error in the Expert RAW app settings menu, this has been fixed as well.
In addition to the fixes, Samsung is also adding a new feature called High-Efficiency RAW. Due to the amount of space that the RAW file format can take up and the lack of an SD card slot, a feature like High-Efficiency RAW can free up some of that space on your phone. However, it is still not clear whether the image quality will be reduced or not.
