The Instagram platform is testing a new subscription service in the United States, and this service will allow its American users to subscribe to see exclusive content from creators and well-known personalities on the platform.
Over the coming weeks, creators will be able to showcase their own exclusive content, and subscribers will pay a monthly fee to access that content. This includes live and story broadcasts as well.
Notably, these subscribers will also receive a purple badge with their username that indicates their status for the creator they have subscribed to follow as well.
As for the prices, they range from $0.99 to $99.99 per month. However, creators can set the price point for their subscriptions. As reported, Instagram will not take a portion of the creators’ subscription revenue.
