Samsung has high expectations for 2022, and it doesn’t seem like it’s just about the Galaxy S22 smartphones. We’ve heard a lot of rumors about the Galaxy Tab S8 range and now we have some leaked details about the lineup of tablets as well as details about Samsung’s plans for new wireless earbuds, smartwatches and laptops for 2022.
As reported by wireless business TheElec Samsung, the division has apparently shared its business plans for 2022 with up to thirty major partners in South Korea revealing production plans and dates.
The leaks reveal four versions of the Galaxy Tab S8 with the Lite version, the standard Tab S8 version, the Tab S8 + version, in addition to the Tab S8 Ultra.
The premium Tab S8 versions are slated to be released sometime in the second quarter of 2020, while the Lite version is expected to follow in the fourth quarter.
Based on the information, Samsung is looking to produce 1.6 million units of the Tab S8 Lite and 1.2 million units of the standard Galaxy Tab S8. While the Plus and Ultra versions are supposed to be manufactured in smaller quantities, around 900,000 and 400,000 units, respectively.
For smart wearable devices, Samsung is looking to produce 4.8 million units of the highly anticipated Galaxy Watch5 in the fourth quarter. The Galaxy Buds Pro2 and Buds Live2 are also expected to arrive sometime from Q2 to Q3. Samsung is also looking to produce 3.3 million units of Buds Live2 and 3.1 million Pro2 headphones.
