Intel has begun shipping new versions of the Alder Lake-P series of processors to laptop manufacturers.
In the past weeks, Intel launched the 12th generation of chips, and today the company is preparing to launch chips for mobile devices, so the company has already started shipping new processors to manufacturers, and Intel’s announcement came today on Twitter before the expected official announcement.
Previous reports have indicated that the Alder Lake-P series includes lower-cost versions, featuring two Golden Cove cores for performance and 8 Gracemont cores for efficiency.
On the other hand, leaks indicate that some of the premium versions of the processor series will include 6 P cores, with 8 E cores, with the highest version in the Alder Lake-P series coming with 14 cores and 20 threads.
The Core i7-12700H processor from the Alder Lake-P series processors was also recently spotted, as it performed 45% faster in performance tests compared to the company’s previous versions, while it outperformed the AMD processor by 35%.
In other benchmark tests, it was revealed that the Core i7-12700H processor outperformed the Apple M1 Max version with 50% faster performance, after the Intel processor scored 18501 points.
