Analyst Ming-Chi Kuo confirmed in a report recently published on Apple’s plans to support the iPhone 14 series and virtual reality glasses scheduled to be launched in 2022 with Wi-Fi 6E technology.
Apple is preparing to unveil the first version of virtual reality glasses next year, which was confirmed by a report published by the analyst.
Also, along with the technology giant’s first release of virtual reality glasses, the company is preparing to launch the iPhone 14 series, which has already run a number of leaks recently.
The report also confirms that Apple’s adoption of Wi-Fi 6E technology in a greater number of devices will push competitors to adopt and expand the technology in 2022.
Wi-Fi 6E supports devices with a connection speed of 6GHz, which is the connection speed required in the virtual reality technology of the upcoming Apple glasses.
It is noteworthy that devices that support Wi-Fi 6E technology are still limited at the moment, and devices that support the technology do not include the current iPhone 13 series, while phones with Wi-Fi 6E standards include phones such as Pixel 6, 6 Pro and Galaxy S21 Ultra. And Z Fold3, Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra, Asus ROG Phone 5 and also Zenfone 8.
