iOS 15 brought some great updates to the iPhone back in September, and one of them was an important feature of the Weather app. The weather app has included many different improvements to improve users’ experience, including a new rain map.
To view the rain map and other new weather features, of course you need to update to iOS 15. If you haven’t updated your phone yet, you can do so by going to Settings > General > Software Update.
Next, open the Weather app, then go to the small map icon that you will see in the lower left corner. From there, click on the three little squares in the top right to choose the weather filter, then choose Precipitation. There you will find a visual map showing exactly where it rains around the world at any time.
Move the bar at the bottom of the screen left or right to move through time. This way you can easily check if it will rain in your local area tomorrow or the next day with just a few clicks.
