iQOO will announce the iQOO 9 range on January 5, and reports have revealed that the version codenamed V2171A belongs to the vanilla iQOO 9, while the V2172A is related to the iQOO 9.
Now, both models have appeared on Geekbench’s database to reveal some of their key specifications.
A Geekbench listing for the iQOO 9 and iQOO 9 Pro shows that they are powered by a Qualcomm chipset known by the code name “taro”. The chipset contains four 1.79GHz CPU cores, three 2.50GHz CPU cores, and one 3.0GHz CPU core.
The processor is equipped with an Adreno 730 graphics unit. Thus, it can be said that the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset will power the iQOO 9 and 9 Pro phones.
Both devices are equipped with 12 GB of RAM and Android 12 operating system, as reports revealed that the iQOO 9 and iQOO 9 Pro will have a 6.78-inch AMOLED screen.
The standard version is expected to feature a flat screen that delivers Full HD+ resolution, while the Pro version may have a screen with a curved edge that produces Quad HD+ resolution. Both phones are expected to support a refresh rate of 120Hz.
Both phones 9 may have a 4,700 mAh battery, which is expected to support 120W fast charging.
